UK, Europe, Worldwide

Based in the UK, most of the dates take place here. If you live outside the UK it is up to you how you wish to spend your money and take your training. You can either spend some time in the UK, or fly the tutor to your country and train at your local track – anywhere in the world. Obviously there are too many variables to list pricing for this service, but pricing will be based on flights, baggage allowance, transfers, accommodation, and day rates. We would be happy to quote for your exact needs.

Philosophy

The thought behind the training is based around tried and tested methods.

After examining sample pictures in the theory sessions explaining what to look for, you will be taken to different areas around the track and shown a variety of techniques and “tricks of the trade.” You then get opportunity to replicate the methods used under the close supervision of the tutor. Unlike landscape or architectural photography courses that use tripods for inanimate subjects, motorsport photography is more physical and involves “motor skill” and “muscle memory” training. Practicing newly learnt skills is very important in progressing into a competent motorsport photographer. You will have plenty of vehicles to practice on, and by the end of the day good shots will start to become second nature.
